Who we are and what this covers
Scenario is a notes and decision-exploration product operated by Youkho Corp, the app provider and seller identified for Scenario in the App Store. In this policy, “Scenario,” “we,” and “us” refer to Youkho Corp and the Scenario services it operates.
This policy covers the Scenario mobile app, the signed-in web workspace, netspokn.com, the former scenarionotes.com domain, subscriptions, support, and related account services.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use Scenario, we may process your verified email address, account and profile information, notes and note organization, reminders, content you choose to share, questions and context submitted to AI features, subscription status, and messages you send to support.
We also process the broad age range you select so we can confirm eligibility and apply age-appropriate privacy and purchase protections. We do not request or store your date of birth for this purpose.
We also receive limited technical and security information needed to deliver the service, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and understand whether important product flows work. We do not sell your personal information.
Signed-in note backup and restoration
Scenario saves your working copy on your device. When you are signed in, eligible account-owned notes—including their titles, text, structure, and organization—are also synchronized to Scenario's account-backed cloud service. Account-owned folders, reminder lists, and reminders may be synchronized with them.
Signing in to the same Scenario account on another supported device can restore synchronized content. Device-only images, drawings, local file references, and other unsupported media may be omitted or represented by a placeholder, so those items may remain available only on the original device.
Important: “Delete all local data” removes the copy on that device; it does not by itself delete an account-backed cloud copy. Use Scenario account deletion when you want the account and its private sync partition removed.
AI features
When you ask Scenario to organize a note, answer a question, transcribe audio, or create and explore a Scenario, we send the request and the relevant note, Life Model, or conversation context needed for that feature to our processing service. That service may send the request to OpenAI to produce the response. We do not send your entire note library with every request.
Scenario does not send note titles, note bodies, prompts, or generated Scenario text to product analytics. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models unless the API customer opts in; limited abuse-monitoring logs may be retained under OpenAI's applicable API data controls. Do not submit information you do not want processed for the feature you requested.
AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate. Review it before relying on it, especially for important decisions.
Accounts, authentication, and security
Google Firebase Authentication or Google Cloud Identity Platform processes account sign-in, email verification, account recovery, and related security information on our behalf. Scenario stores the account identifier, verified email and verification state, linked installation identifiers, account status, and security records needed to operate your account.
Account and billing records are separate from note content, although your private sync partition is associated with your authenticated account so it can be restored only to that account.
Website and product measurement
The public website uses first-party, cookie-free event measurement for page visits and important links. These public events do not create a visitor identifier or join activity to a Scenario account. The Scenario web workspace may also use PostHog as a service provider for explicit product-interaction events and sanitized page templates, but only after an eligible signed-in adult opts in in that browser. Workspace measurement may use cookies or browser storage and a pseudonymous, one-way-derived account identifier to connect activity across workspace visits.
We do not enable automatic text capture, session replay, heatmaps, or console recording. We do not intentionally send note titles, note bodies, prompts, generated Scenario text, email addresses, authentication tokens, query strings, or dynamic record identifiers to PostHog. The web client is configured to honor browser Do Not Track signals.
Optional PostHog product measurement is off by default. It is unavailable for accounts identified as belonging to users under 18, and enabling it requires an 18-or-older confirmation that is stored only in that browser. The choice does not change the account's age marker or purchase safeguards, and we do not send the selected age range or consent record to PostHog.
Hosting and security providers may process IP address, browser and device information, and security signals needed to deliver and protect the website and workspace.
Subscriptions and payments
Apple processes App Store purchases, and Stripe processes supported web purchases. The applicable provider handles payment credentials, receipts, subscription management, refund requests, and payment communications under its own terms.
Scenario receives limited purchase and subscription information needed to verify access, restore access, prevent fraud, and support your account. This can include the plan, provider, transaction or subscription identifiers, purchase and expiration dates, renewal state, trial or offer information, storefront or environment, and an account-linking token. Scenario does not receive your Apple Account password or store your full payment-card number.
When an account is identified as belonging to a person under the age of legal majority, Scenario requires confirmation that a parent or legal guardian has authorized the purchase before starting checkout.
Service providers and disclosures
We use providers that help us operate Scenario, including Google for account authentication and cloud infrastructure, Apple and Stripe for billing, OpenAI for requested AI processing, PostHog for privacy-restricted web product measurement, and providers for hosting, storage, email, security, and professional support.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect people or the service, investigate fraud or abuse, or complete a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
Retention and security
Device data remains until you delete it, reset local Scenario data, or remove the app and its data. Account-backed private content remains while your account needs it for synchronization, unless you delete the content or delete the account. A completed synchronized deletion removes the content-bearing backup and may retain only content-free deletion markers needed to prevent an old device from restoring deleted material.
Account deletion removes the account's private sync partition and identity and access mappings. We may retain limited transaction, tax, chargeback, security, fraud-prevention, and legal-compliance records when reasonably necessary. Shared material and support records are retained only as needed for their stated purpose and applicable obligations.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Your choices
- Delete local data: removes Scenario data stored on that device, but not the signed-in cloud backup.
- Delete your account: use the account settings in Scenario to remove the account and its private sync partition.
- Manage sharing: make supported shared notes or Scenarios private before deleting local data or your account.
- Manage billing: cancel through the provider where you subscribed. Account deletion does not automatically cancel an Apple or Stripe subscription.
- Limit web measurement: use browser privacy controls, including Do Not Track where supported, and clear netspokn.com site data.
You may ask us to review, correct, or delete personal information held by our services, subject to limited legal, security, fraud-prevention, and operational requirements. Email hello@scenarionotes.com.
Children and teen accounts
Scenario is for people age 13 and older. A person who selects the under-13 age range cannot continue into Scenario. People ages 13 through 17 must have a parent or legal guardian's permission to use Scenario where required.
Teen accounts receive privacy-protective defaults, including disabled optional product analytics and an additional authorization step before a paid purchase. Contact us if you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information so we can review and delete it when appropriate.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Scenario and our practices change. We will update the date on this page and, when a change materially affects how signed-in note content is handled, provide an in-product notice.
Questions or privacy requests may be sent to hello@scenarionotes.com.
